OK, so as a guild we generally do well on crowns, but we do fall slightly short of the maximum possible result. Would be helpful to have some views from you all....!
Points to consider:
- We're deliberately NOT a high pressure top 10 guild. Primarily the focus is on enjoying the game. - Having said that I do want us to get the best rewards we can. - I want the guild to be accessible for players of all levels, so long as they contribute. - Is there anything to fix, or are we happy as it is? - Are the crown targets right? (150 if you're under level 55, 180 otherwise) - What's your view on people who are regularly just short of the targets? - If we take a very strict line on kicking, will we get enough quality replacements? - How do we identify/protect long term guildies who may just be having a bad week?
From a personal point of view I don't want a process that's a small industry to keep track of, so we need a collective and simple way to manage it all.
So, what's your view?

Primarily the focus is on enjoying the game. - Is there anything to fix, or are we happy as it is? * I've been with Vandal for a while, I'm happy with the general energy and performance of the guild. - Are the crown targets right? (150 if you're under level 55, 180 otherwise) * Crown targets are appropriate, but there are definitely weeks where you get punked with single-color PVP goals. - What's your view on people who are regularly just short of the targets? * How short are we talking? 10-20 crowns? Let it go. 50+? That's more of an issue. - If we take a very strict line on kicking, will we get enough quality replacements? * That's always the challenge, isn't it? There's no guarantee. - How do we identify/protect long term guildies who may just be having a bad week? * Don't have a good answer for that. I know that THIS week, I've been getting nailed with single-color and Lvl 10 Tower goals. It's killing me, I'm WAY behind. I might clear 160 this week.

To be frank, what's the point in joining a guild on this game other than to reap the rewards that crowns bring? The chat room is rubbish, there's no other incentive to be in a guild other than to try to make that guild as good as possible through crown rewards.
Crown targets are set, it's made clear upon joining the guild what the targets are. There will be times when it is difficult to reach the target so you'd work harder the following week to exceed that target and to redress the balance. If people can't/won't meet the target over a period of time then there is no reason to be in the guild. We should be a team striving toward the same end goal.
I don't think that 150 crowns is unachievable, even with same colour PVP raids. If people consistently fail to meet this, or the higher tier, then they should leave or be cut loose. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

It's been going well but we never meet goals we put on ourselves we have a VERY strong top then we have a very weak bottom with under 100 crowns which to me ain't fair due to more than half of the guild doing an amazing job idk my two cents

How about we use the Vet rank to help a bit? Get 180+ and you get promoted to Vet. Get less than 150, and you get demoted. Anyone demoted at the lowest level gets kicked.
150 is easily achievable. 180 isnt that hard either, even at levels less than 55. Most new members should be able to earn a Vet promotion within a week. If they happen to have an off week, 150 should still be easy to get and maintain their rank. A real bad week under 150 and a single demotion will still keep them in the guild. They can always get the promotion back by pulling 180+ the next week.
The only problem would be guys added midweek. They might be mistaken for deadweight. Maybe use the forum to show the new guys added. We can also use it to appeal a demotion if you got a bunch of level 10 tower quests or something.

Thanks guys for taking the time to air your views.
RealExcl a very good suggestion again mate, I'm sold on that with a minor change!
My proposal then is:
1 - Exceed your target = Promotion 2 - Fail your target by more than 20 = Demotion 3 - Demotion from member = Kick 4 - Repeat offender = Demotion
Exceptions being new members and people who've used the forum to communicate holiday, busy work etc. I think that's as fair as we can be and it's simple t understand.
Any last views?

I'm level 40, and I'm thinking it could actually be just as easy for lower levels to get single color pvp wins because there's always going to be that super super easy dungeon to raid if you refresh it a couple times with some gold. people over level 60 probably have better defense dungeons in general, so it's probably harder to find those easy dungeons. The only reason lower level players are getting less crowns is because of the limited personnel on their teams to be able to use 4 of the same color, but even then you just need 2 successful raids. Eventually the personnel will come anyway.. I have 47/54 heroes and I haven't spent a penny on the game

This guild is making progress though- I think if we hadn't kicked anybody last week we would have reached 8k crowns. But let the kicking continue until we can reach 9k consistently!

Well we had moochers that only gave 50 crowns or under all the time it's not fair to the rest of guildies who are doing an outstanding job

Lendrum, superb idea.
Aaron I do look at the total reward when deciding whether or not to kick - so far I've not felt we were quite close enough for missing out on the next one up. Good point though.

I agree entirely with Aaron, I'm only Level 42 with 40 heroes but seem to manage ok. Crowns tend to roll over too so if you actually manage to earn more one week it gives a good buffer for when you encounter a particularly hard same colour PVP. I think people need to just work harder, otherwise why are they in the guild in the first place.

Well now apparently you have to win 3 pvp raids for the quest... that might suck for some people.
